Sam Kinne, RN, BSN, CCRC is a registered nurse and Certified Clinical Research Coordinator with experience spanning cardiothoracic critical care and clinical research. She began her career in medical and surgical nursing before moving into cardiothoracic intensive care at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, she cared for heart and lung transplant recipients, ECMO patients, and high acuity individuals with and without advanced cardiac devices, gaining extensive experience in complex and rapidly evolving clinical environments.

For the past three years, Sam has specialized in guiding pediatric and adult participants through clinical research trials. She has contributed to multiple Phase II through Phase IV industry-sponsored studies and investigator-led projects for pulmonary patients, with a particular focus on cystic fibrosis. Her work integrates scientific rigor with compassionate patient guidance, ensuring that research participants feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their care.

Sam brings a deeply patient-centered perspective to everything she does. Her professional and personal experiences in healthcare have strengthened her passion for empowering individuals, especially women, with greater knowledge, confidence, and curiosity about their whole wellbeing. She believes that improvements in healthcare standards of practice and consumer transparency will be essential catalysts for meaningful change.

Outside of her clinical and research work, Sam values connection and community. She enjoys hosting dinner parties, reading, seasonal gardening, and exploring new hobbies. She embraces an open-door approach to life and believes strongly that no one makes it through life alone. Community is a central influence in the way she lives, works, and supports others.
